I don't know about you, but cozy mysteries set in Ireland peek my interest on a bookshelf. After reading over the back blurb to Lucy Connelly's novel, An Irish Bookshop Murder, I instantly wanted to try it and did not regret it!

As Christmas nears, I was in the mood to read a mystery featuring decorated trees and twinkling lights. So I decided to give The Twelve Books of Christmas by Kate Carlisle a try. See what I thought of the first Christmas-themed novel in her "A Bibliophile Mystery" series.
